- Heat butter in a medium bowl until just melted.
- Add brown sugar and cream, and boil for 1 minute to dissolve all of the sugar.
- Add most of the icing sugar and the vanilla, and beat for at least 5 minutes until the frosting is fluffy.
- If too soft, add more icing sugar. If too thick, heat the frosting for 20 sec in the microwave, and if that is not sufficient, add milk in ½ tsp lots.
