Method
- Clean mushrooms. If required, separate stems and cut into smaller pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat the butter to sizzling and add mushrooms and garlic. Turn heat down if required and cook for 5 min until the mushrooms begin to golden.
- Add the shallots and cook a further 2 minutes.
- Transfer to serving dish and sprinkle with parsley. Serve immediately.
Serves 4.
: This salad was a favorite of my children's, although it has dubious nutritional value. It is great for a children's party where a "plate" is requested. |
